Anti-corruption
Norfund invests in the types of world market where the danger of corruption is highest, but maintains a zero tolerance for corruption. Contributing to prevention of corruption and/or corrupt practices is a key concern for us.

Prevention of and arrest for money-laundering in the context of financial transactions, and ensuring that the enterprises that receive investments possess systems for management of risk, are of essential importance.

Norfund has elaborated separate guidelines for its zero tolerance of corruption, money-laundering and financial crime. The guidelines regulate how Norfund implements its own activities and what is perceived as acceptable business practices with regard to our partners. Key principles are embedded in the agreements with our partners.

Norfund is also a member of Transparency International.
