Already before the pandemic, more than 10 million&nbsp;African&nbsp;youth were entering the labour force, while only 3 million formal jobs were created \u2013 every year. Now that gap is even greater.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What will it take to protect and create and protect jobs at speed and scale in developing countries? This in turn requires enormous investments \u2013 a sevenfold&nbsp;annual&nbsp;increase&nbsp;(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/reports\/financing-clean-energy-transitions-in-emerging-and-developing-economies\/executive-summary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">IEA<\/a>)&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;in markets where capital is scarce and expensive.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200b&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>What will it take to mobilise capital at the scale required to finance green growth in developing countries?
