The investment will help secure over 3000 seasonal and permanent jobs in the town of Ashton.<\/p>\n\n<p>Langeberg Foods is being acquired from Tiger Consumer Brands, who first announced its exit intentions in 2020. The new ownership group consists of Norfund, a consortium of 90 local farmers, and a newly established community trust.
