He is a Member of the Presidential Investors’ Round Table (Advisory Board to President Museveni) and serves on the Advisory Board of the Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) Initiative. He is the immediate past First Vice Chairman of the Nairobi Stock Exchange Board of Directors and member of the National Social and Economic Council in Kenya.
is Deputy Director at Shuraako Fund in Somalia. Mr. Gole has 15 years of experience in management, international development, finance and business development. Gole established Shuraako Somalia office and played a leadership role in establishing Shuraako’s fund systems and processes to facilitate investment in the frontier market of Somalia. Prior to Shuraako, Gole worked for the Economic and Community Development Institute, a non-profit organization and Small Business Administration intermediary micro lender in Columbus, USA.
Mr. Hout Ieng Tong
Hout Ieng Tong is CEO of the Cambodian microfinance institution Hattha Kaksekar Limited. He was co-founder of Hatha Kaksekar Limited in 1996, and has represented the institution since then. With a broad range of experience in microfinance, Mr Tong is an outstanding performer in both financial and non-financial management.
Kari Helene Partapuoli is the director of The Development Fund – a Norwegian NGO working to fight hunger and poverty. She has extensive experience from the NGO sector ranging from anti-racism to development aid. She is a social anthropologist by training.

He joined Norfund in 2003, served as the Head of Department – Financial Institutions and was instrumental in promoting Norwegian investments in Southern Africa. Prior to Norfund, Mr Malik fulfilled the role of CEO of Development Bank of Zambia and other senior executive positions in Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines Limited. Deepak has over 36 years’ experience and serves on various local and international boards. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from the University of Delhi, India and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

is Head of the Department for Food & Agribusiness and SME Funds in Norfund. Marum leads a team of 22 investment professionals across three offices in Africa and in Oslo. He has worked 17 years within private equity in different capacities in Norway and internationally including seven years at HitecVision as Senior Partner.
