Norfund committed equity capital together with Scatec Solar, KLP and Africa50 towards the development and construction of 6 solar PV projects developed under the Government of Egypt's Feed-in-Tariff program. The plants are now operational. The projects will support the Government of Egypt's goal of generating 20% of energy from renewable sources by 2022.
