Founded in 1994 as an NGO food project, HKL has grown into a leading mid-size microfinance institution (“MFI”) in Cambodia (“the country”). HKL is Norfund's equity investment in the microfinance sector in Cambodia. It is currently the 4th largest MFI in the country. We have sold our equity position in August 2016.
