Miniplast is a leading Ghanaian manufacturer of industrial and household plastic products made from virgin and recycled plastic, marketing and selling their products across West Africa. It is a family-owned company established in 1988 with headquarters and production center in Accra and serves the rest of Ghana through plastic collection and grinding hubs in Kumasi and Tamale. More than 50% of Miniplast sales are export to neighboring countries Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Togo, Mali, Guinea Bissau, Benin, Liberia, Senegal, and Niger as well to Europe. The Norfund investment is predominantly going towards tripling capacity for plastic recycling.
